Photo of the Day

From 'Landmasses and Railways' - Bertrand Fleuret

I came across something interesting on the internet the other day; a photographer who can command a fair price for his prints and books but often decides to give them away. Bertrand Fleuret offers copies of his books in pdf form on his website so you can print them yourself and through his ongoing project ‘Remora‘ he anonymously places 100 xeroxed copies of a series of work in random locations in cities all over the world. People who come across the work, outside of standard gallery or museum settings, are then free to react to the pieces, with careful consideration or not, however they chose, from ripping them up and tossing them aside to taking them home.
